Join in celebrating the sixth annual "Take Your Child To A Bookstore Day" on Saturday, Dec. 5, at the Clinton Book Shop. This all-day celebration will include two of the most fabulous children's book people.
Ame Dyckman will read from, discuss, and have a wonderful time with young readers and soon to be readers when she presents "Wolfie The Bunny." Families of all kinds will delight in this sweet tale of new babies, sibling rivalry, bravery, unconditional love...and veggies.
Adam Lehrhaupt will add to the fun when he presents "Please! Open This Book. In Warning, Do Not Open This Book!," which School Library Journal called "more fun than a barrel of monkeys," turning pages meant increased chaos and delight. Now the tables have turned, and opening the book is the only way to save the group of monkeys who are trapped between its pages. This irresistibly entertaining rescue effort puts power in the hands of the page-turner, and giggles into everyone.
Activities will be added to this event, check the Clinton Book Shop web-site at www.clintonbookshop.com and the Clinton Book Shop Facebook page for more details. The Clinton Book Shop is located at 12 East Main St., Clinton, 908-735-8811.
