CLINTON TWP. -- A township woman faces a charge for allegedly assaulting an 87-year-old township man with whom she lives.
The woman is accused of striking the man in the face during an argument, causing visible injury, police said in a release on Tuesday.
Patrolman Peter Schlesier arrested the woman on Monday at 3:30 p.m. and charged her with simple assault, police said. She was then released. The victim decided not to apply for a restraining order, police said.

In a separate, unrelated incident, police charged Raheen Wilson, 38, with a last known address of Roselle, with aggravated assault.
On Monday, Wilson allegedly struck a 36-year-old pregnant woman, pushed her head into a wall and choked her at the Fountain Motel before leaving the area, police said.
Bail has been set at $15,000. Wilson has not yet been arrested on the charges, police said.
