On Oct. 21, at the South County Library in West Amwell, children grades two and up are invited to learn about animal skulls with a naturalist from the Hunterdon County Parks and Recreation Department. Children will walk around different stations and answer a questionnaire about the skulls. Then, as a group, they will explore key features and what they reveal about local wildlife. "The War of the Worlds" Staged Radio Play - Raconteur Radio, the highly acclaimed theatrical group, presents the staged radio play of "The War of the Worlds" at the North County Branch Library, Clinton, on Thursday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. Originally narrated by Orson Welles, this provocative program first unsettled radio listeners on Oct. 30 1938, who thought an actual alien invasion was occurring.
