LAMBERTVILLE -- It's been named one of the best pizzerias and restaurants in New Jersey, and to celebrate its one year anniversary Liberty Hall Pizza in is giving away free pizza.
Liberty Hall is typically closed on Mondays, but on Jan. 25 from 6-8 p.m. owners Chris Bryan and Danny Popkin will be giving away complimentary Margherita pizzas and a tumbler of Victory draught root beer to the first 200 guests who show up.

The special will be dine-in only with no substitutions, and Liberty Hall's regular menu will not be available that night.
"It's been an amazing first year for us," Bryan stated in a press release. "We were named the 12th best pizzeria in New Jersey by Peter Genovese and recently listed as one of 2015's top 25 restaurants in the state. We also launched a successful guest pizzaiolo series that has attracted the region's top chefs and garnered scores of media attention."

Since opening for business a year ago, the restaurant has baked more than 35,000 Neapolitan pies in its wood-fired brick oven, assembled 14,500 salads, used 18,000 pounds of flour, 850 gallons of tomato sauce and nearly 4 tons of fresh mozzarella and mozzarella di Bufala, according to a news release.
After going non-stop for a year, the owners and employees will take a 10 day break from Feb. 1-10 and will reopen Thursday, Feb.11.
Visitors can also check out the guest pizzaiolo series Tuesday with Chef Josh Homacki of The Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm and on Saturday, Feb. 20, with Frank Olivieri, Jr., owner, Pat's King of Steaks in Philadelphia.
