Kevin's love of racing comes naturally. His grandfather is Jim Horton, winner of multiple track championships at the famed Flemington Speedway.
Since he first strapped into a quarter midget at the age of 5, Kevin Holt, Jr. of Flemington has loved to race. He won his first race at that age, and continued to advance through divisions. His home racing club, Montgomery County Quarter Midget Racing Club, located in Phoenixville, Pa., awarded him Rookie of the Year honors in his first full year of racing at its track.

His uncles are the late Rich Polenz, a modified standout and feature winner at Flemington Speedway, and Jimmy Horton, an 11-time dirt big block Modified champion throughout the Northeast, multiple time ARCA winner and NASCAR competitor.
This past year, beginning in May, Kevin, at 11, successfully chased a USAC National Point title in the Quarter Midget Division. He won the USAC National Championship in the Light 160 class and finished third in the USAC National Points in the Senior Honda class, racing in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Illinois and Ohio.
On the way to the National Championship, Kevin swept all races and won the USAC Northeast Regional title in the Light 160 class, and finished second in the Senior Honda class. The Montgomery County club honored him as the Walt Chernokal 2015 Driver of the Year, awarded to the driver demonstrating the most skill and consistency throughout the year.
Kevin, dubbed with the moniker "The Young Sensational One" by the Phoenixville track announcer, drove in two classes this year, Senior Honda and Light 160. The Light 160 is owned by Michele and Rob Pinder, of Boyertown, Pa. The Senior Honda is owned by his parents, Cyndi and Kevin Holt Sr.
Driving StarCars, built by Pensyl Enterprises of Nazareth, Pa., he is also sponsored by Art's Radiators, DSP Racing Photos, Jones Racing Products, Ziegler Enterprises and Maxima Oils. His power plants are built by A-Main motors and Vengeance motors. An ambitious 100 race schedule racing four separate divisions lies ahead for 2016.
Kevin Holt Jr. has a Facebook page devoted to his racing endeavors. As a young driver wanting to race, as well as defend and add to his national championship, Kevin is currently seeking sponsorship for the 2016 racing season.
