Proceeds of the silent auction will benefit the Red Mill Museum Village and its continuing mission to preserve and educate about the agricultural and industrial history of Hunterdon County.
The Red Mill Museum Village's annual Festival of Trees fundraiser will be running through Dec. 6. The Festival of Trees consists of a silent auction of donated and decorated trees, wreaths, and centerpieces.
Proceeds of the silent auction will benefit the Red Mill Museum Village and its continuing mission to preserve and educate about the agricultural and industrial history of Hunterdon County. This year's Festival of Trees has been generously supported by Provident Bank and Om Clinton.
Among the items up for the silent auction are a tree made out of balloons, a wreath made out of jingle bells, and a tree commemorating the upcoming Star Wars movie.
The Festival of Trees will be open during regular museum hours through Thursday, Dec. 3, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Hours will be expanded on Friday, Dec. 4 and Saturday, Dec. 5, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Festival of Trees will conclude on Sunday, Dec. 6, when it will be open from 12-5 p.m., with silent auction bidding ending at 4:30 p.m.
The cost of admission for the Festival of Trees is $5 for anyone over the age of 6. Museum members and children under 6 years of age are free.
