RARITAN TWP.-- Closing its 2015 regular season, the Hunterdon Land Trust Farmers' Market celebrated with a holiday market Sunday ahead of it's monthly winter market beginning Dec. 20.
Picking up fresh kale, yams and bread as well as turkeys and poultry from The Quail Farm of Princeton, customers prepared for their own fresh and local Thanksgiving dinners.

"We love coming here. It's great to introduce [their daughter] to this at a young age," Jennifer Osborn said, adding that she was shopping for apples and sage for a farm to table Thanksgiving in Asbury
New to the market this week was John Wear Pottery's unique gifts, Whimsey Eco Chick's up-cycled feed bags and wood-crafted items from Mustache Jack Creations of Flemington.

Following the restoration of the wagon house on the property, the winter market, held December through April every third Sunday, will now have an indoor home with electricity, a wood stove and lighting, but no other heat, insulation or running water
The building is now a three-season classroom to host environmental, gardening and historical talks and will be available for community gatherings.
The winter market will be open from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and a full list of market vendors will be available soon.
