Five people are indicted on charges including aggravated assault and heroin possession.
FLEMINGTON -- A Hunterdon County grand jury has released the following indictments:
* Neil C. Vesce was indicted on a third-degree count of aggravated assault; a third-degree count of possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and a third-degree count of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer.
On Aug. 21 in Lambertville, he allegedly tried to or did cause significant injuries to Donald Zahler, had a walking cane as a weapon, and tried to or did injure Lambertville Patrolman Albani.
* Julie N. Remington was indicted on one third-degree count of theft by deception; one third-degree count of forgery; and one third-degree count of uttering a forged instrument.
On Aug. 8 in Raritan Township, she allegedly tried to cash a fraudulent New Jersey Natural Gas check at Affinity Credit Union.

* Jessie K. Ondrak was indicted on a third-degree count of possession of a controlled dangerous substance and a fourth-degree count of possession of prescription drugs.
On Aug. 25 in Readington Township, Ondrak allegedly had heroin and five or more dosage units of a prescription drug or stramonium preparation not lawfully prescribed or administered.
* Michael L. Woodman and Amber L. Cantore were indicted on a third-degree count of possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
On Aug. 2 in Flemington, they allegedly had heroin.
A Hunterdon County grand jury has decided that sufficient evidence exists for the prosecution to proceed with cases against the people listed above. The defense has not yet responded to the charges. The indictment is merely a formal charge. These defendants are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.
