LAMBERTVILLE - Nearly five dozen dogs are featured in the 2017 Dog Days of Lambertville calendar.
The calendar, now in its 12th year, benefits four animal charities. Many of the dogs featured were rescued and adopted animals.
Here are some of the dogs featured in the calendar:
- Tink, a 10-year-old Bulldog mix, was nursed back to health by dog rescuers after she was found injured and malnourished in a locked closet during a criminal investigation. Today, Tink loves eating cheese and chicken, and meeting children on her walks through the city.
- Lily, a 12-year-old English Cocker Spaniel, started life as a show dog and has adapted to life as a pet - wrestling with her brother Colt, swimming at Tyler State Park, and "eating lots of stuff."
- Sebastian, a 3-year-old Puli who lives in New Hope, loves his morning and evening walks to Stockton and visiting his lady friends at Ryan's Shell station and Nola restaurant. He also enjoys patrolling Dilly's parking lot across the bridge and relishes the attention he gets from diners.
