UNION TWP. - Two vehicles were involved in an accident on Route 173 at the exit 11 ramp to westbound Interstate 78.
The accident happened at approximately 11 a.m. Sunday involving a Nissan Altima and a Jeep Grand Cherokee. According to those at the scene, the Jeep was apparently heading east on Route 173 and the Nissan was on the exit ramp. The Jeep rolled over in the collision.
There were no reports of injuries. The eastbound lane of Route 173 was closed by exit 11. Responding to the crash were the New Jersey State Police Perryville Station, Patttenburg Fire Department and Pattenurg Rescue Squad.
