Anthony Boutilette, 33, of Kearny, who was also wanted in Warren County, is facing a number of charges in Hunterdon County, according to Clinton Township police.
CLINTON TWP. - A Kearny man wanted in Warren County is facing a number of charges in Hunterdon County, according to township police.
A 1999 Honda with a smashed windshield and front-end damage was found in a restaurant parking lot in the Clinton Point area at 12:30 a.m. on Oct. 6, police said.
Anthony Boutilette, 33, the driver of the vehicle, had an outstanding warrant for his arrest from the Warren County Prosecutor's Office stemming from a prior heroin possession charge, police said.
A detective from the Hunterdon County Prosecutor's Office arrived with a drug-sniffing K-9 and Boutilette was reportedly found to be in possession of cocaine, according to police.
Boutilette was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine, being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance and operating a motor vehicle while in possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
He was also issued motor-vehicle summonses for driving an unsafe vehicle and cracked windshield. Unable to post $3,750 bail, he was transported to the Somerset County Jail.
Township police also reported two addition drug arrests, one on a drug possession charge and the other on a charge of being under the influence of drugs. Both were arrested and charged on Oct. 4.
