NEW HOPE, Pa. -- A Pennsylvania man admitted Tuesday to evading federal taxes for four years, according to a statement from the U.S. Attorney's Office in the Eastern District of Pa.
Benjamin Lomas, 46, of New Hope pleaded guilty in federal court to filing false information with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and diverting money from his business for personal expenses, the statement said.
According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, Lomas evaded taxes for the calendar years 2009 through 2012.
Lomas faces five years in prison and a fine for the charges when sentenced.
