The group is looking to expand into New Jersey.
The non-profit Infinite Wishes Foundation was founded by Lisa Frick and Donna and Al Werdann in honor of Joan, Al's sister and Donna's sister-in-law, who, at 53, was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. She had a dream to swim with dolphins.
"Joan's dream came true on April 17, 2013," it is stated on the organization's website. "Sadly, we lost Joan on Dec. 20, 2013, and in honor of her life and her commitment to helping others, we started Infinite Wishes Foundation to help other adults with life-threatening illnesses have their wishes fulfilled."
The organization provides a wish trip or outing for adults 18 to 65 with a life-threatening illness. It can be an evening out to dinner, tickets to an event, a trip to visit a friend or a vacation to a Florida or New Jersey destinations within the foundation's partnership networks. Donations are also welcome.
