The weapons possession charge could bring up to five years in jail if convicted, and resisting arrest carries a penalty of up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine.
It was previously reported that an officer stopped a 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Jordan on Interstate 78 west near Exit 17 for alleged equipment violations.
The officer reportedly smelled marijuana inside the vehicle, and a search turned up 25 grams of suspected heroin and 16 grams of an unknown white powder, police said.
As officers tried to arrest the SUV's occupants, Jordan reportedly pulled away from an officer and ran toward Route 626, police said. A short time later, another officer reportedly saw Jordan entering a residence on Beaver Avenue.
Jordan was arrested when he emerged from the second-floor bathroom. Officers searched the bathroom and discovered a bag of marijuana in the garbage can, police said.
A subsequent search of the SUV produced a machete, a grinder and a pack of rolling papers, police said. Gall and Parham were passengers in the Tahoe.
