HAMPTON - The Hampton Fire Company and Ladies Auxiliary held the third annual barrel fight and pig roast.
Fire departments from Hunterdon, Warren, Morris and Ocean counties attended on Saturday with the Pleasant Plains Fire Department from Toms River having traveled the farthest to take part.
Heavy rain and lightening delayed the barrel fight competition around 8:45 p.m., but competition resumed around 9:30 p.m.
In addition to the roasted pig there were hamburgers and hot dogs, along with all kinds of side dishes.
