A man who allegedly threatened to shoot someone with a .38 pistol has been indicted by a Hunterdon County Grand Jury on charges of making terroristic threats.
FLEMINGTON -- A man has been indicted by a Hunterdon County grand jury after allegedly threatening to shoot someone.
John L. Jackson was indicted on a third-degree count of making terroristic threats and a fourth-degree count of throwing bodily fluid.
On April 11 in Flemington, he allegedly threatened to return to someone's home with a .38 pistol and shoot that person. He is also charged with urinating in the direction of a Flemington Police officer.
Jackson's indictment was handed up by a grand jury on Thursday. Other indictments handed up by the grand jury include:
- Maureen C. Corson was indicted on a third-degree count of burglary. On May 9 in Lebanon Township, she allegedly entered a building on Winding Brook Lane without permission, intending to commit an offense.
- Avinash D. Dwarka, Anthony R. Chapman, Gavin L. Leitch and Kavon T. Clayton were each indicted on a third-degree count of credit card theft and a third-degree count of conspiracy to commit credit card theft. On April 27 in East Amwell Township, they allegedly had more than two credit cards that had been altered.
Man indicted in 'swatting' hoax
Several people were indicted by a grand jury on July 14. They include:
- Jaquan M. Bland was indicted on a third-degree count of possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute. On April 14 in Clinton Township, he allegedly had less than one-half ounce of heroin.
- Thomas McLellan was indicted on a third-degree count of eluding. On April 26 in Raritan Township, he allegedly fled after a Raritan Township patrolman signaled him to bring his vehicle to a stop.
