CLINTON -- We put a special camera in the middle of the South Branch of the Raritan River to capture this short 360 degree interactive video of the historic Red Mill Museum in Hunterdon County, New Jersey.

Across the river from the Mill is the Hunterdon Art Museum. The museum is located in a former gristmill that was reconstructed in 1836 and operated until 1936. In 1952, a group of local residents came up with a plan to convert the historic building into an art museum which is still open to the public.

Spanning the river is the Main Street Bridge which was constructed in 1870 and uses a pony truss web system patented by Caleb Pratt in 1844. There are very few examples of this style of bridge remaining which uses a unique combination of cast and wrought iron. This bridge construction method was used for only about 20 years and few still operate in America.
