Delays of up to 3 miles on the eastbound side of Interstate 78 in Hunterdon County are being reported on Thursday, May 5, 2016.
Delays of up to 3 miles on the eastbound side of Interstate 78 near Jugtown Mountain are continuing as of 9:45 a.m. Thursday following an early morning truck fire.
The fire occurred just after 1 a.m. in Bethlehem Township at mile marker 9.8 on Jugtown Mountain and as of 9:45 a.m. the right lane remains closed. There are also delays on the eastbound side of Route 173 in the area.
It was previously reported that the truck was carrying soap and, initially, the right and center lanes were closed. The right lane remains closed with delays of up to 20 minutes in the area.
