Roy Rogers Restaurants invites families to celebrate Mother's Day weekend with free meals for moms.

FLEMINGTON -- Want to treat mom to more than just breakfast in bed? Roy Rogers invites families to celebrate Mother's Day weekend with free meals for moms.

With the purchase of a kids' meal from May 6-8, Roy Rogers restaurants in Flemington, Franklin and Pine Beach will gift Moms with a special Roy's shopping bag and a free combo meal of their choice.

11 reasons why fans still love Roy Rogers

"Roy's is proud to honor moms this Mother's Day weekend," Roy Rogers Restaurants Spokeswoman Carrie Isabell stated in a press release. "We are excited to see the joy that mothers and families experience at our restaurants during this special holiday."

The Flemington Roy Rogers opened on March 18 and was the second Roy Rogers store to open in New Jersey recently. A restaurant opened in Franklin Township, Sussex County, last July.

During the restaurants grand opening, Co-President of Roy Rogers Franchising Co. Jim Plamondon said more locations are coming -- Edison this spring followed by Brick and Rockaway later in the year.

Roy Rogers is home to the triple threat of hand-battered fried chicken, top choice round roast beef and burgers as well as breakfast items like pancakes, eggs, biscuits and creamed chipped beef.

Roy's also has nine side items to choose from, including mashed potatoes, coleslaw, baked apples, macaroni, French fries and more. Unique to Roy Rogers is the fresh Fixin's Bar with a selection of vegetables and condiments to dress your sandwich.

The Flemington location is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday through Sunday.
