Curtiss T. Niece, 34, of Milford, was indicted on multiple charges, including aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer.
MILFORD -- A man who was previously indicted on charges stemming from a home invasion faces additional charges, including that he allegedly kicked out the rear window of a police cruiser and dove out.
Curtiss T. Niece, 34, was indicted Thursday on multiple charges, including aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer.
The new charges stem from an incident in Milford on Dec. 23, 2015.
A third-degree count of aggravated assault on a police officer charges that Niece injured State Police Trooper W. Condron while the officer was performing his duties.
Niece was previously indicted in September on charges that he broke into an Alexandria residence, threatened the occupants with a knife, destroyed the contents of the home, lit a mattress on fire and ran away. That incident reportedly happened on July 2 at a residence in Alexandria Township.
He was charged Dec. 2 in Bucks County, Pa., in connection with a different home invasion in which he allegedly hit a man in the head with a gun.
Niece was also charged in August after allegedly threatening patrons at Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem and flicking a knife at a restaurant server, according to court records in Bethlehem, Pa.
The current indictment includes a third-degree count against Niece for allegedly resisting arrest.
A fourth-degree count of obstruction charges that Niece kicked out the rear window of a troop car in which he'd been secured, and then dove out.
A fourth-degree charge of throwing bodily fluid charges that he spat onto an officer.
Niece also faces a fourth-degree count of contempt for allegedly violating the terms of a final restraining order. Jail records indicate he is currently in custody.
