BLOOMSBURY -- An 18-year-old high school senior is the newest member of Borough Council.
Sarah Stiehler was sworn in on March 22 to fill an unexpired term through December.
The Phillipsburg High School senior plans to attend Rutgers University's Newark campus and study education with an emphasis on upper-level math. She'll also be playing softball for the school.
Sarah was one of three girls selected as a scholar athlete for Phillipsburg and will be honored at a ceremony next month.
