Interim Principal Patricia Bell has been named principal of Valley View School in Lebanon Township.
Valley View School Principal Patricia Bell LEBANON TWP.-- Centenary College graduate Patricia Bell will be the new principal of Valley View School, Superintendent Jason Kornegay has announced.
Serving as the interim principal at the school since August, Bell was unanimously approved by the Lebanon Township School District Board of Education in March.
"In conducting the search for a new principal, there were three separate rounds of interviews that included a committee interview," Kornegay said in a news release. "After meeting with a number of candidates and reviewing more than 40 applications, Mrs. Bell emerged as the clear, best fit for Valley View School."
Valley View School holds food drive
Bell earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education and teaching from Saint Francis University in Loretto, Pa. and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Centenary College in Hackettstown.
She previously taught in the Washington Township School District for 18 years and worked as assistant principal at the Reverend Brown School in Sparta for two years.
"Mrs. Bell has worked hard in her time here and is very excited to continue the forward progress at Valley View School," Kornegay said in the release. " I am confident that Mrs. Bell will be able to continue to provide stable, positive leadership for Valley View School."
