A 24-year-old Lambertville man was walking to work Friday morning when he was struck by a car on Quarry Street, Lambertville Police confirmed.
LAMBERTVILLE -- A 24-year-old Lambertville man was walking to work Friday morning when he was struck by a vehicle on Quarry Street, Lambertville Police confirmed this afternoon.
Police were called to the location at 9:27 a.m. According to initial reports, the driver of the vehicle, a 41-year-old woman, told officers she had not seen the man.
The pedestrian sustained non-life threatening injuries to his head and knee and was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center. Police issued the driver a summons for failure to yield to a pedestrian.
Police said the names of the driver and pedestrian were not immediately available.
