The boil-water order's been lifted for much of the borough.

HIGH BRIDGE -- An advisory to boil water for cooking and drinking has been lifted for much of the borough, but residents of the "Jenny Jump" area should continue boiling their water for the time being.

That's the word from High Bridge Police, who've been issuing alerts since a water main on Hillcrest Lane broke Thursday night.

Earlier alerts have said that road closures and service interruptions should be expected, with road closures likely through the weekend between Valley View and Hoffman.
