Snow and freezing rain has left some Hunterdon County roads slick on Tuesday, resulting in some schools and county services announcing delayed openings.
Because of the winter storm that blanketed parts of New Jersey in snow, sleet and freezing rain Monday evening, school districts and some county services have announced delayed openings for Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2016.
The following Hunterdon County districts and county services have delayed openings Tuesday morning:
- Blossom Hill Country Day School, Lebanon, 2-hour delayed opening
- Clinton Township School District, 2-hour delayed opening and no morning pre-kindergarten
- Franklin Township schools, opening at 10:30 a.m.
- High Bridge schools, opening at 10:30 a.m.
- Hunterdon County Educational Services, 1-and-a-half-hour delayed opening
- Hunterdon County Superior Court, 1-and-a-half-hour delayed opening
- Hunterdon Preparatory School, Annandale, 2-hour delayed opening
- Right At Home Daycare, Lebanon, littles, middles and up opening at 8:30 a.m.; infant and toddler area opens at 9:30 a.m.
- Spring Run School, 2-hour delayed opening
In addition, Raritan Valley Community College in Branchburg announced it will be opening at 10 a.m.
Schools that do not appear on this list are not necessarily open; this could mean that the school has not made school closing or delayed opening information available or has not responded to query calls.
