In order to create a consistent, positive message throughout our school and community, Flemington-Raritan School District will announce The Great Kindness Challenge Proclamation at the Jan. 25 Board of Education meeting held at J. P. Case Middle School at 7 p.m.

"A simple act of kindness can make a tremendous impact on our school. It doesn't take a lot to make a big change." Mary Pepe, Francis A. Desmares Elementary School Counselor.

The Great Kindness Challenge was created by Kids for Peace to provide schools a tool for creating a positive school environment. In 2015, 2,188,669 students participated and performed more than 100 million acts of kindness nationwide. The great Kindness Challenge is generously sponsored by Dignity Health, Kind Healthy Snacks, Little Pickle Press, ViaSat, SDGE, NRG, The Code Crew and ExaMobile. Visit www.greatkindnesschallenge.org
