According to ExploreLearning, Reflex Math is the world's most effective math fact fluency system available to students in grades two-eight. The Immaculate Conception students participating in the grant program for the school year, have access to Reflex Math anywhere there is an internet connection. They use personal login codes and passwords to access their individualized fact practice games both at school and at home on computers and iPads. Their progress and success in fact mastery is monitored by the teachers and used to support their differentiated math experiences in the classroom.
The teachers are thrilled with the progress their students are making. Suzanne Hoffman states, "The students are engaged and so excited when it's Reflex time in our classroom. Their math fact fluency is getting stronger every day. They are able to quickly recall the basic addition and subtraction facts needed to solve many of the real-world problems we encounter in math." Robin Bloom, too, sees great results. According to Bloom, "I love Reflex. My students are excited to learn every day. Fluency of multiplication and division facts is essential in every mathematical concept going forward."
